Get Out receives four Academy Award nominations

Jordan Peele's horror film Get Out, which has received praise for its performances and thought-provoking take on race in America, received four Academy Award nominations Tuesday, including one for best picture.

Peele made history becoming the first black director to receive nominations in the writing, directing, and producing categories for his first feature film.

Peele tweeted his gratitude to the fans that made the movie both a critical and commercial success:

Trailer for upcoming zombie film THE CURED

The Cured is a 2017 Irish zombie film starring Ellen Page. The Cured ask the question what happens when the undead return to life? The movie is written and directed by David Freyne and will be released in the United States. IFC Films is releasing The Cured in theaters, on demand, and via digital HD, Feb. 23.

SYNOPSIS: What happens when the undead return to life? In a world ravaged for years by a virus that turns the infected into zombie-like cannibals, a cure is at last found and the wrenching process of reintegrating the survivors back into society begins. Among the formerly afflicted is Senan (Sam Keeley), a young man haunted by the horrific acts he committed while infected. Welcomed back into the family of his widowed sister-in-law (Ellen Page), Senan attempts to restart his life—but is society ready to forgive him and those like him? New horror on VOD: Temple

Temple, a new horror flick was released on VOD on September 1. Temple stars Naoto Takenaka, Asahi Uchida, and Logan Huffman. Check out the synopsis and the trailer below:

The Vault, a new horror flick was released on VOD on September 1. The Vault stars James Franco, Taryn Manning, and Francesca Eastwood. Check out the synopsis and the trailer below:

SYNOPSIS: In order to save their brother Michael’s life, the Dillon sisters, Leah and Vee have organized a bank robbery, but when the upstairs vault doesn’t have enough money to cover Michael’s debt, on the advice of Assistant Bank Manager Ed Maas, they drill into the downstairs vault. But the bank’s basement hides a terrible secret and before long, the Dillons have to choose whether to face the police outside or the terrible supernatural forces in the vault below.
