George Romero getting star on Hollywood Walk of Fame!

The director of one of Night of the Living Dead, one the most iconic films ever made is finally getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Chamber of commerce announced that George A. Romero will get a star for his wpork in motion pictures along with other such as Amy Adams, Jason Bateman, Goldie Hawn, Dwayne Johnson, Chris Pratt, Brett Ratner, Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo and Rita Wilson.

“Scouts vs. Zombies” will premiere March 2015

[SOURCE] Paramount Pictures has given the zombie comedy "Scouts VS Zombies" a March 13 2015 release date.

The title of the movie pretty much says it all. “Scouts” is about a group of Boy Scouts who fight zombies in a small town. The movie stars Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller Joey Morgan, and Sarah Dumont.

World War Z 2: Steven Knight to write sequel and Brad Pitt to return

[SOURCE] Steven Knight looks set to pen the sequel to apocalyptic zombie thriller World War Z, reports claim.

The Oscar-nominated screenwriter, known for Dirty Pretty Things and Locke, has been hired to work alongside director JA Bayona, according to Variety.

Brad Pitt will return to the lead role after playing zombie-fighting United Nations employee Gerry Lane in the 2013 original. He will also be producing, alongside Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner.

Plot details for the next World War Z are being kept under wraps but the storyline is expected to continue from where Marc Forster’s movie left off.

World War Z passes the 200 million dollar domestic mark.

It took awhile but the surprisingly successful run of World War Z hit another milestone this weekend. According to Boxofficemojo.com World War Z has just crossed the 200 Million dollar mark.

This of course makes it the most successful zombie movie ever. It is also Bard Pitt's highest earning film to date, both domestically and internationally.

Congratulations to Brad Pitt and all involved. They and Paramount took a chance on a genre flick and it paid off big time. so zombie lovers it just proves to all that zombie movies can be blckbusters if done well and if they are supported by zombie fans.

'World War Z' Becomes Brad Pitt's Biggest Hit Of All Time

[ SOURCE ] Brad Pitt's "WORLD WAR Z" has now earned over $500 million at worldwide box office, making it the actor's highest grossing worldwide release, surpassing the star's "TROY" which grossed $497.3 million globally.

After setting a personal best with a $66 million opening on June 21, "WORLD WAR Z" has gone on to total $197.4 million in the U.S. The film delivered Pitt's highest grossing domestic release of all time (besting "MR. & MRS. SMITH's" total domestic gross of $186.3 million), and the biggest opening weekend of his career (beating "SMITH's" $50.3 million opener). The film has earned $305.2 million at the international box office, to date.
