Beloved: Dead War Series Flash Fiction.

Here is another piece of Dead War Series flash fiction. I hope you enjoy. George L. Cook III.

Beloved. Dead War Series Flash Fiction

Warm Bodies may not be that bad.

When I first heard about the concept for the movie Warm Bodies I was immediately turned off. Zombie falls in love with a human. My first thought was "Oh great Twilight with fu**ing zombies.".

After viewing the trailer I have to admit to not giving the movie a fair shake. I still hate the love angle but the concept of zombies being able to become human again intrigued me. So I will now at least go watch the movie first and then blast it...LOL. Check the trailer out below and judge for yourself.

The Walking Dead has found it's Tyreese, actor Chad Coleman

There's a new hero coming to AMC's The Walking Dead.

The Wire alum Chad Coleman has been tapped to play fan-favorite character Tyreese in the zombie drama based on the comics created by Robert Kirkman, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

In the Image comics, Tyreese first appeared in the seventh issue, crossing paths with Rick and his group on the highway, with the former sheriff providing food for the former Atlanta Falcons linebacker and his family before joining the fold.

5 Questions from The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 306 'Hounded'

WARNING! Minor spoilers ahead. If you haven't seen The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 306 'Hounded' turn back now! You have been warned.

First off episode 306 Hounded was a very good episode except with any scene containing the character of Andrea. The episode left me with quite a few questions.

* Can Andrea have any worse taste in men? First Shane and now The Governor.

* Is Rick finished being bat shit crazy with those beginning to become annoying phone calls?

* Doesn't Glenn know to shoot Merle first and to trust him later?

* Where the fuck has Carol been? Was she hiding in that closet the whole time?

* I guess it was the zombie guts Michonne got all over her earlier in the episode is why the walkers avoided her. I know that's more of an observation than a question bu hey it's my blog.

Check in next week for another 5 questions.

What's up with The Dead War Series Book Three: WAR

Hey everyone this is Dead War Series author George Cook. I know I promised that The Dead War Series Book Three: WAR would be released October 31, 2012. I really wanted to release that book on Halloween but circumstances would not allow that.

I have not yet finished the book because in early October my wife was hit by a car while crossing he street. She had to have surgery to repair a broken clavicle so I have been tending to her, Then when she finally starts to get up and moving around a little bit Hurricane sandy hit.

Sandy knocked out our power for nine days. With gas and food in limited supply you can imagine that finishing a book was not my top priority.

I truly apologize for not having the book out on time but it will be released before the end of the year or early next year.

Just so you now WAR will end the first part of The Dead War Series known to me as the Sgt. Richards trilogy. So expect some big surprises.

Before that I will release a short story titled The Dead War Series: ROUGE that goes into the story of the Special Forces Scouts. It will hint at some of the surprises in The Dead War Series: WAR.

Thank you so much for your continued support. I truly appreciate it.

Sneak peek at first footage from World War Z

Check out this footage from the upcoming ( hopefully ) movie World War Z via Entertainment Tonight.

Actor IronE Singleton of the death of TDog his character on The Walking Dead

[ SOURCE ] IronE Singleton, who played T-Dog, he calls watching the final episode "bittersweet."

"I am totally and completely satisfied with how the show ran. I think that the show was a success of a brilliant team of individuals, everybody coming together doing their part. ... It's not my call to really say that I wanted more or less or anything like that. I'm just so pleased to have been part of something so special, so historical," said Singleton in a conference call with journalists.

"I had no idea I was going to go out so heroically, at the beginning, because when I was first cast in the show I was told that I would do two, maybe three episodes. But I ended up staying on the show for three seasons. So how miraculous is that? So I'm very thankful for that," he said.

"And when I get the phone call, the death call, I call it ... They told me I was going to die and I was looking forward to reading the script. When I read it I was thankful that he would go out heroically. So it made me feel really appreciated," said Singleton.

While Lori was drawn from the comics, T-Dog was a creation for the Walking Dead TV series.
"I think it was very liberating, because as an actor you start with a clean slate and there's nothing more liberating about starting with something that is not written. So you pretty much create the history of that character; you create that character's rigor, meaning that character's life story," he said.

"So whatever you do, whatever you come up with, whatever you decide on, we can go with it, and if the director or if the execs like it, then you'll stick with it. So that's a good thing, as opposed to having something that's already written, that's paired down with who your character is. Then you're kind of sticking in a sense, to a certain extent," said Singleton.
